- Amerikan Teenager
- Amerikan Teenager is an alias used by Dutch artist Sebastiaan Schlicher, and the name of a project-based artist collective, which consists of a loosely knit group of artists & musicians who engage in site specific installations, collaborative painting & drawing, studio-based audio/video projects, and performing in front of audiences. Line-ups may vary with each project and from one gig to another. Amerikan Teenager videos are projected as backdrops during live performances, and shown autonomously in art exhibitions and at festival screenings. The first proto-Amerikan Teenager project dates back to Schlicher's 2002 noise video 'Territorial Pissings / 1X1=1'. This blog provides information on Amerikan Teenager projects and activities as well as other undertakings by Sebastiaan Schlicher.
